We are seeking a motivated, organized and customer-oriented Compensation Operations Specialist to join our team. You will have the opportunity to consult on a range of compensation issues and will also be responsible for assigning, prioritizing, and organizing our mailbox and ticket management system by coordinating our queue. You will help us maximize our operational efficiencies through recommendations that you make and support our Compensation Consultants by analyzing reporting data and extracting insights that will enable the team to operate more effectively.
Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
Supports Lateral Team operations by monitoring, tracking, and assigning cases to compensation consultants based on urgency and availability
Analyze data on team’s volume, progress, escalations, and other insights to provide recommendations to maximize operational efficiencies within the Lateral Team
Manage daily emails and direct to the appropriate compensation consultant or respond directly as appropriate
Escalate problems to the team leader when required and/or necessary
Compensation Education & Consultation
Contributes to the development of onboarding and training materials to educate employees and managers on compensation programs.
Provides answers to compensation questions of varying complexity from internal partners (e.g., HRBP, Global Talent Acquisition) and makes recommendations on handling compensation-related queries.
Program Design and Adaptation
Assists in the creation of materials to socialize proposed changes associated with a specific new or existing compensation program (e.g., Total Rewards).
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
2+ years general HR experience or other related work experience
OR 1+ year(s) directly related compensation work experience
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional organizational and management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM system
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player
Adept at and comfortable with prioritizing the work of others based on established directions and guidelines and working under pressure.
The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $83,500 and $125,000.
