Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work with others to create compelling documentation for machine learning products on Microsoft Docs (https://docs.microsoft.com):
Develop, prioritize, and execute customer-focused, data-informed content plans.
Work with engineering, support, marketing, and customers to learn customer goals and needs.
Use data to report on your impact and prioritize your work.
Work with others to deliver high-quality documentation.
Create other strategic content such as videos and infographics.
Refine the content through customer feedback, testing, and keeping current with tech.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience writing for a technical audience (Data Scientists, Developers, IT, DevOps, etc.) and coding/programming with Python.
OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Python. (Highly preferred)
You have proficiency with at least one of the following: SQL, Java, Scala, Spark, or R.
Experience with cloud machine learning services for app development or as a data scientist.
You are a self-starter who works well independently and with others.
You know how to make content decisions with data.
You have 3 years of proven project management, organization, and planning experience.
You fear no tech tools and can get up to speed quickly on Git and markdown.
You have experience in artificial intelligence, customer analytics, data preparation, statistical modeling, data mining, or probability theory. And/or you have experience as a developer creating intelligent apps.
4+ years of experience writing for a technical audience (Data Scientists, Developers, IT, DevOps, etc.) and coding/programming with Python.
OR 2+ years of proven writing, content design, IT, or coding/programming experience AND a Technical Certification or Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, English, Writing, Journalism, Communications or related field
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a related technical domain.
