The Group: M365 Core builds the infrastructure, platforms, AI/ML and communications backbone for Microsoft 365. Our mission is to build a trusted platform that enables us, and our 3rd party partners, to create both people and group-centered productivity experiences. We do this by bringing together the entire breadth of our customers’ data assets with personalized user information to create a compliant and agile platform that democratizes the ability for developers to build intelligent M365 applications.
The Team: M365 Core Ecosystem team is the team that builds: 1. the Substrate Ecosystem Service Platform that powers core productivity data for Exchange Online and Microsoft Graph, like mail, calendar, contacts, people, and tasks; and the APIs exposing those capabilities. 2. The Microsoft Graph developer experiences, documentation, tooling and SDKs. And 3. We also drive the strategy for coherence, growth and security of the Microsoft 365 platform, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams all across Microsoft to realize the opportunity for Microsoft and the 3rd party ecosystem that builds high value applications for our common customers.
The Role: This is developer experience role leading the Microsoft Graph Docs Team of PMs and Technical Writers. Your team is responsible for publishing all docs for Microsoft Graph. These services get trillions of calls daily and are consumed by hundreds of millions of customers globally. You will have a huge opportunity to shape how developers interact with Microsoft Graph.
Some of the items within your portfolio include: 1. Microsoft Graph Documentation information architecture; 2. features of Microsoft Graph Docs; 3. the publishing process and flow of the queue of documentation requests; 4. our effort to enable more of our internal teams to surface their workloads on Microsoft Graph.
Want to help developers feel empowered, motivated, and inspired to build within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem? Want to collaborate closely with product teams across Microsoft to produce documentation for API capabilities in Microsoft Graph? Have you felt you could do better documentation and want the opportunity to prove it? Then join us and have a direct, positive influence on businesses of all shapes and sizes using Microsoft productivity products.
