We’re looking for a highly creative and tech-savvy writer to join us. On the Content Experiences team, we create learning, UX copy, and customer support experiences for Microsoft devices and software. This role will initially focus on Microsoft 365 products and our Microsoft Support website, with an emphasis on learning and discovery. Your words will help customers learn, solve their problems, and get the most out of Microsoft products. You’ll work with our world-class designers, writers, content program managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to create amazing experiences. You’ll use data to understand how to improve those experiences and content so customers have the engaging experiences they expect. You’ll have a window into the future and a chance to shape how that future impacts millions of customers around the globe.

Responsibilities
Write and edit concise and compelling web copy
Review the work of contributors to provide editorial feedback
Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business goals and create content experiences that meet customer need
Use customer data to inform content strategy and improvements
Understand and evangelize our content model, content types, and brand voice
Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and innovations and effectively pitch those ideas to the team and stakeholders
Perform functional and editorial quality assurance on content as appropriate
Qualifications
Track record of delivering creative experiences on tight deadlines
2-3 years hands-on experience writing content for consumer-facing web sites
Portfolio of writing and content samples
BA/BS degree
Great to have
A passion for technology and its potential for changing lives
Experience with video or visuals
Experience writing promotional copy
Creative collaboration and problem-solving skills
