Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Program Manager, you will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers to orchestrate ISV engagements from discovery to solution enablement, through to deployment and potentially publishing on our customer-facing marketplaces. Throughout the engagement you will drive a world class partner experience and strong relationship, including a smooth transfer to internal teams upon engagement completion. Specific responsibilities include:
Directly engage with ISVs to define business vision and goals
Manage priorities and drive clarity for engineers in translating business goals into architectural needs
Coach and mentor others in planning, organizing and coordinating work
Drive alignment and forward progress across multiple projects, keeping all key stakeholders informed
Unblock challenges by working closely with engineers and domain experts in addressing ISV solution needs
Maintain currency on the latest in cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
Helping ISVs to publish their products onto the Microsoft public marketplace
Qualifications
A successful candidate will draw from many of the following desired qualifications and skills:
Require Qualifications:
5+ years Project Management and direct customer-facing experience, ideally in consulting or delivery
2+ years cloud software industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ISV and subscription-based business models and how to translate ISV business goals into technical needs
Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends
Track record of problem solving from conceptualization to implementation
Ability to work within strong cross-functional distributed teams, in a highly matrixed environment
Adept at communicating across diverse audiences including engineering, sales, services, and partner executives
Results driven and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
Interest in contributing to a diverse and inclusive team; demonstrated ability to have fun
