Come help us define and shape the way Microsoft grows its flagship consumer subscription: Microsoft 365. The M365 consumer business has grown rapidly in the last two years, and we have even more ambitious plans. The Microsoft 365 Growth team plays a critical role in achieving this mission through acquiring new subscribers. In this role you will work across teams and disciplines as an advocate for the end to end customer experience. You lead a team of rock star product managers who analyze user journeys and funnel data to identify opportunities to improve those experiences resulting in tangible business impact.
Unique elements of this role
You will:
Make decisions that have direct, tangible impact to the consumer business that is reported to the street.
Influence roadmaps based on projected impact to make sure we have tangible business impact. You will be data-driven.
Lead multi-discipline teams defining, running, and analyzing experiments—using multiple methodologies—to drive impact.
Build, cultivate, and maintain close relationships across marketing, finance, and engineering teams.
Develop a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies and how they serve customer needs.
Responsibilities
Identifying and developing new growth tactics and evolving operational rigor to accelerate consumer subscriber growth.
Report and provide commentary on business results against team OKRs.
Develop and coach a team of growth-minded product managers who understand product fundamentals, user journeys, and funnels.
Assist the team in developing product strategies using data, research, and product intuition and influence product engineering teams across the company to design and experiment with best-in-class user experiences.
Partner closely with product engineering teams to bring new experiences to market or evolve existing experiences through experimentation driving subscriber growth and revenue.
Effectively communicate key product scenarios to stakeholders to gain support and ensure alignment.
Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience managing and developing teams
Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a keen sense of urgency.
Independent self-starter who can manage through highly ambiguous situations in a start-up style team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate with others. Comfortable speaking in large forums and influencing senior leaders.
Experience with subscription lifecycles, product roadmaps, experimentation and consumer products.
