Responsibilities
Influencing the operational excellence of SMT, using customer driven insights, scaled system design, and strategic analysis of goals:
Leverage a passion for people-first design across strategy, planning, and operations to influence optimal partnerships, decisions, and processes (both internal and external)
Translate and/ or parse information across a variety of internal functional areas and teams, quickly becoming a critical subject matter expert or partner who achieves impact through others
Distill ambiguous customer information and experiences into critical elements of a problem, to deliver efficient and scalable solutions that uplift the whole
Provide quality analysis and insight into the overall success of our engagement strategy and recommend solutions to business obstacles.
Design and deploy innovative and efficient systems and tools, backed by thoughtful and reliable training and documentation, and leverage improvements to our existing tools via tool owners
Influence optimized data analysis with precision for insights where needed and influence decisions with strategic executives and team members
Create and deliver a feedback mechanism on how to improve / do better for our operations, strategy, and planning functions, driving improvements with partner teams
Engage with our community to support and uplift critical events, cultivate our speaker bench, and determine other opportunities to expand our future innovation activities
Note that given global scope of our team, limited travel may be required as needed.
Qualifications
We have seen success with those who have background or experience in fields/ degrees as listed, but welcome all candidates with equivalent life experience
5+ years of leadership and/ or organizational influence and transformation
5+ years of business, product, or program management, preferably with experience within an engineering environment and/ or complex operations management
Master of Business Administration
Competencies and skill expressions critical to success
Strong self-motivation, ideation, and intellectual curiosity
Ability to influence, combined with a desire to collaborate, with cross-functional teams
Partnership focused with strong relationship building skills across a dynamic and distributed customer and partner base
Executive presence and/ or organizational leadership that inspires peers at all levels

Track record of driving high visibility and complex projects with tangible impact
Ideation of new processes, improvement of existing processes
Driving new connections and feedback loops to influence future strategy
Balancing overarching long-term planning and strategy while driving daily progress
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
