About the Role: Director Sales Operations
We are seeking a technically experienced Sales Operations Leader to facilitate and execute on Microsoft’s digital transformation to enable sales process and deal execution within our core sales platform built upon Dynamics 365. The goal of this strategic capability is to lead the capability roadmap, user experience and process excellence of our internal deal execution in the Microsoft Sales Experience (MSX D365) and beyond. This work ensures our worldwide Sales community are fully supported and enabled in completing daily tasks for all B2B sales interactions with Microsoft customers. This person will work closely with stakeholders across Microsoft, our IT organization and directly with Microsoft sales and marketing teams, to optimize Deal Execution as a core capability within our sales platform and process.

Responsibilities
Improve deal management at Microsoft within the Microsoft Sales Experience (MSX D365) – user experience, process and systems/tools for Leads, Opportunities and Success Engagements
Own Deal Execution Roadmap in partnership with key business partners in the Microsoft Commercial and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) team, Marketing, and IT
Partner with segment teams, sales role owners, and leadership to enable a common sales process and methodology for Microsoft sellers within the Microsoft Sales Experience.
Collect and document business requirements, processes, and workflows for deal execution for Microsoft commercial sales.
Engage with users to understand needs and potential for improvement and help guide the next wave of deal management and sales processes.
Enable Sales Leadership to leverage MSX and deploy new programs and processes in an agile way achieving desired business outcomes.
Monitor and optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process and workflow within the sales platform.
Engage with the sales ops team, and PMO on day-to-day operations on the platform and process
Partner with Sales Enablement and landing teams to land new capabilities, capture feedback to enable change management and adoption.
Demo platform experience and showcase values to a variety of stakeholders, including executives, to provide visibility and prioritize the investment of platform enhancement based on business priorities
Collaborate with other sales capability owners to optimize deal execution across the seller experiences
Successfully Manage multiple projects, stakeholder relationships and the relationship with the MSX engineering team
Additional Details:
This person will have world class project management skills, enjoy working on large complex projects, and have experience in sales or marketing operations (preferably both). You must be highly organized and detail-focused, have effective communication and presentation skills, as well as cross group collaboration experience.
Qualifications
7-10 years related experience in sales, sales excellence, sales enablement, or sales operations
Experience enabling sales and sales operations within a CRM system such as Dynamics 365 or Sales Force
Deep understand of pre and post sales processes and methodology
Executive Communications; Strategic, Analytic & Critical Thinking
Strong business strategy, decision-making, program management and project-management skills
Strong storytelling and demo skills, previous experience preferred
Ability to lead envisioning process to capture business requirements and map requirements to solution use cases
Thrives in and can drive results in a complex, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environment; and who loves the creativity, energy, and enthusiasm of a fast, collaborative, innovative team experience operationalizing business requirements into a great user experience
Proven experience of influencing other organizations where their support is critical to success to achieve a common goal.
