Responsibilities
We’re seeking an Envisioning Specialist who is both a great storyteller and passionate technologist to facilitate immersive technology experiences and deliver compelling demos to executive audiences. Along with your ability to connect with business and technical leaders in storytelling and discussion, you will have business acumen and strong knowledge of Microsoft’s Solution Areas, cloud concepts, and digital transformation practices. You will be results-driven, a natural collaborator, and work to build on ideas as well as share your expertise and support. Most importantly, an Envisioning Specialist is passionate about helping our customers and ensuring that their experience will be informative, productive, and inspirational. This role is highly customer-facing and will spend most of the time facilitating the best demos and technology experiences Microsoft has to offer!
Key Responsibilities:
Inspire and instill confidence in customer audiences by facilitating a wide range of solution area capability demos, industry demos, and customer success demos.
Share expertise to evangelize highly complex customer engagement delivery programs to stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain buy in. Leverages data and performance metrics to demonstrate the value of the CET Immersive Experience program and show business impact.
Deliver demos in person at the Executive Briefing Center, Industry Experience Center and through virtual engagements with remote attendees.
Manage the deployment of new technology experiences in the Center, and the general operation and performance of demos and experiences, in partnership with the global technology experience program team.
Act as a subject matter expert in customer delivery and demo build, providing guidance and expertise to our global CET locations (SVC, Atlanta, Munich, and Singapore)
Partner with Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) Technical Architects on understanding offerings and activities for getting customers to “next-best action”
Possible periodic travel to third-party industry events (HIMSS, Hanover-Messe, NRF, etc.) to help scope and evaluate first- and third-party demos and experiences
Lead documentation and scripting for assigned demos and experiences; package up materials including scripts, training videos, and other documentation for consumption by other CET facilities around the world.
Identify trends, business needs, challenges, and feedback from customer engagements; provide feedback on existing experiences and ongoing ideas for potential new experiences to be developed.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in enterprise sales, marketing, and/or business development, including experience engaging directly with customers and account teams.
OR the equivalent experience.
Experience presenting to large (20+ people) audiences and/or internal/external senior executives.
Experience creating scripts, key talking points, and other documentation to support demo or experience delivery
Experience delivering solution and product demos to customers.
A natural storyteller with exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
A L150 – L200 depth of subject matter expertise in Azure (Data & AI, Apps & Infra), Modern Workplace and Business Applications, from a prior sales, marketing or engineering role related to these areas.
Must have conversational depth of subject matter expertise in IT, Cloud, and Software business trends, including impact of digital transformation on Microsoft’s priority industry verticals (Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.).
Ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent deliverables, and to move fluidly from project work to presenting in front of customers across multiple engagements per day and week.
Outstanding cross-team collaboration skills, as part of a small team which will need to work closely supporting one another for mutual success.
Location: Seattle/Redmond, WA area, working onsite. Relocation assistance will not be offered.
