Microsoft Looking For Finance Manager – Gaming at Redmond, WA Full Time

Are you a highly motivated and confident finance professional looking for a challenging role in one of the most exciting areas in Microsoft? This role supports the Xbox first party studios team as we seek to innovate, disrupt, and expand the gaming opportunity worldwide. In this role, you will focus on driving key finance deliverables, including month end financial reporting, systems and tools reconciliations, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:
Assist in creating month end financial reporting by conducting analysis, reconciling system results, and creating the necessary back up to support accounting entries.

Systems and Tools:
Use a wide variety of systems and tools to consolidate and analyze results.

Structure reports and financial models for decision support.

Act as a subject matter expert for data management and all system related work items (ie. forecast and budget reconciliations).

Assist team with financial system hierarchy set up and management.

Ad Hoc Analysis:
Assist senior team members to conduct analysis across a wide variety of programs and offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience

OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field

OR equivalent experience.
