The WW Azure Group Finance Manager for MCAPS will lead and execute worldwide core finance processes for Cloud and Enterprise products. The Azure Group Finance Manager is the Finance partner to Area Azure leads and other product-aligned business leaders. The successful candidate will develop deep subject matter expertise on Azure GTM and KPIs such as Consumption, Azure billed and MACC. The candidate will also need to develop strong knowledge of Azure underlying workloads such as Compute/Storage, Data Services to deliver actionable insights to business partners as well as the Segment and New Business & Customer Success Finance managers. The Azure Group Finance Manager drives Azure growth from a WW perspective through analytics and new ways to measure this fast-growing strategic product.

Responsibilities
Optimize Worldwide Financial Processes and Operations
Drive tight business management processes to build predictability and accountability on Worldwide and Area results: monthly/quarterly business reviews, forecasting, target setting, budgeting.
Drive standardization and simplification, including partnering with shared resource teams and corporate teams (EG, CFT), i.e. One Finance.
Utilize project management skills and results-driven mindset to partner with developer teams to build new tools and dashboards to aid Area reporting and insight through a variety of tools: Excel, PowerBI, MSX Insights etc.
Partner with Area Leaders and Azure Controllers to Drive Business Performance
Understand competitive market insights, provide thought leadership to challenge BG leads & STU around new business opportunities / growth roadmap landscape.
Effectively communicate financial and business performance to executive audiences to influence decision-making.
Act as trusted advisor to MCAPS leadership, providing guidance, challenging plans, and offering solutions.
Construct meaningful insight and analyses supporting Azure growth, accelerating workload adoption, customer adds & other focus drivers as per scorecard.
Partner across the organization (EG, CFT, SPT) to drive forecast for Azure commitments and own the analytical framework for addressing MACC whitespace.
Community Leadership (A15 Controllers)
Lead an experienced community of Area CSA Controllers to focus on key insights and projects to accelerate the business and increase productivity and focus of sellers and partners.
Lead the Area forecast, budget and Outlook processes for Area planning with accurate forecasts and high-quality budgets.
Provide insights to subsidiaries in a digestible manner which can be easily leveraged for business results.
Setting community priorities for each fiscal and developing an actionable framework to achieve the same.
Drive Internal Compliance
Continue strong alignment with Internal Audit, EG finance, CFT and other corporate partners driving risk-based compliance frameworks. Build relationships of trust and honesty to ensure compliance risks are freely discussed and handled in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the CELA and Control & Compliance teams to foster a culture of compliance and embed compliance rigor into MCAPS processes and key risk areas, e.g., discounting
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive experience; BA/BS in Finance/Accounting required; MBA preferred.
Demonstrates leadership skills and decision-making ability.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate key messages concisely and clearly, while leveraging appropriate visual tools.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy with a heightened sense of urgency.
Demonstrated ability understand complex business models and derive business insight to help strategic decision making.
Strong analytical skills: the ability to see beyond the what and understand the why and intellectual curiosity.
Team player.
Ability to influence, establish credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of the organization (across geographies and organization).
Presentation of results to senior management on a regular basis.
Organized and proficient at managing multiple tasks under tight turnaround deadlines.
Fluent in English.
