Our customers need our help! Our team delivers data protection, data governance, response, and audit capabilities across the entire multi-cloud digital estate. This suite is already a multi-billion-dollar revenue and usage growth engine for Microsoft, and over the coming year we are growing the team to accelerate 10x faster!
Data is the life blood for modern organizations, their most important asset. The team is focused on creating complete solutions that allows these crown jewels to be managed in conjunction with business and regulatory requirements. These cover a wide range of scenarios such as data protection, governance, response and incident management for security, legal or regulatory requirements, internal investigations, and many more. These have traditionally been time, labor intensive and specialized capabilities. Responsibilities
The role has scope for broad impact and will require strong customer empathy to understand areas of need, product vision to delivering compelling and complete solutions, collaboration capability, and ability to influence across organizational lines. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a demonstrated track record of product vision, technical contributions, and a proven history of leading successful teams. She/he will be required to develop a culture of quick moving teams, customer embedded product innovation – and deliver measurable business value and customer usage. Passion for a team culture of inclusion and belonging is a must. Success in this position requires a broad set of experiences and skills, and experience in the areas of Data Governance, Information Protection, Compliance, Security, Risk Management capabilities and controls are a plus.

Qualifications
Required Qualification
Ability to engage with customers and partners
Fostering a strong working relationship with engineering at the leadership and working team level
Hands on experience designing user experiences
10+ years of Product management or program management
3+ years of people management experience
A passion for finding solutions to hard problems at massive scale and operationalizing them
Demonstrated experience leading and hiring Principal level Program Managers
Strong track record of shipping products and services at Microsoft Prior messaging, authentication, provisioning, and directory experience desirable
Experience building large scale services desirable
Preferred Qualification
Online Services experience is a plus
Experience working at a systems level and delivering platforms a plus
Success in this position requires a broad set of experiences and skills, and experience in the areas of Data Security, Data Governance, Information Protection, Compliance, Security, Risk Management capabilities and controls are a plus.
Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, strong track record of structuring and solving complex problems.
Be able to translate the big picture into detailed and effective functional requirements.
Be able to tell a story, clearly present your ideas and obtain feedback from peers and partners.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
