As the Microsoft Industry Cloud Enablement Strategy Lead you will:
Be responsible for designing and driving end-to-end strategy and execution of partner enablement efforts that will help partners increase their ability to create new business opportunities for priority Microsoft Industry Clouds – Healthcare, Retail, FSI and Sustainability.
Ensure the partner’s voice is heard, bringing the right technical and sales enablement efforts to market to enable partners to drive Microsoft Industry Cloud adoption and consumption.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders to create alignment on enablement deliverables and outcomes to partners worldwide, driving toward all-up Microsoft Industry Cloud skills training and certification goals.
Engage with Microsoft’s product business groups to design and deliver valuable partner learning experiences, driving meaningful revenue impact for partners and Microsoft.
Own the planning, orchestration, and delivery of scale and depth training events for priority solution plays aligned to high demand customer scenarios.
Deliver Microsoft technical and non-technical skilling capacity and capability scale through remote, always-on and in-person events and learning journeys.
Empower Microsoft field teams with the resources to drive local partner engagement with an emphasis on regional and local impact.
Join an agile and collaborative team and be comfortable working in partnership across multiple functional teams, including – Field, Engineering, Worldwide Learning, and GTM, and directly with Partners to land business planning driving results together.
Operate with a high level of rigor, providing transparency into your workstreams, tracking progress toward shared goals, and clearly identifying areas of opportunity and risk, consistently hitting deadlines, deliver consistent business updates to Microsoft business group leadership teams and innovate to drive efficiencies wherever possible.

The GPS Global Enablement team engages across Microsoft’s Azure, Business Applications, Modern Work, and the Security, Compliance and Identity business groups as well as Worldwide Learning to deliver depth partner capability and capacity at scale through custom global skilling plans designed to meet joint business goals.
Responsibilities
Own & drive Skilling Imperative Globally with Microsoft’s most powerful alliance
Develop Skilling vision jointly with the Partner’s global stakeholders to drive the world’s first type of initiatives – Best hackathons, Record setting skilling plans etc.,
Develop end-to-end training and enablement plans to build technical skilling capacity for strategic workloads.
Partner with internal stakeholders, including Worldwide Learning, the Partner Success team, and GSI strategy team, to ensure we have the right content, training, and resources to support those plans.
Manage partner capacity requirements, ensuring that the right level of resources are allocated to IP creation and technical enablement.
Establish trusted relationships with key technical resources and executives within portfolio partners.
Develop and grow relationships across organizational boundaries, to bring the right practice development, technical, sales, and go-to-market resources to enable the partner’s success.
Deliver consistent business updates to partner and Microsoft leadership teams that track progress toward shared goals and clearly identify areas of opportunity and risk.
Collaborate with field leadership to drive global initiatives related to partner readiness lifecycle.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years experience in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.
2+ years experience working with Partners
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years marketing, strategy, sales, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
OR equivalent experience.
Understanding of Microsoft’s Security, Compliance, and Identity technology
Product management, engineering or technical skilling program or communications experience highly valued.
History in successfully designing, operationalizing, and taking to market enablement programs that achieve key outcomes
Demonstrated success managing multiple stakeholders to define and achieve shared business targets.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) and/or experience in relevant fields e.g.: security, sales, learning, business, marketing, information technology. Master’s degree beneficial.
The base salary for this role in the STATE OF COLORADO is between USD $129,800 – $194,800
At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
