In this lead role, you will build, motivate, and guide your managers and their teams of trainers to deliver technical training content to current Microsoft customers and customers who are just starting to evaluate Microsoft Cloud technologies. Your team will teach the full range of our Microsoft cloud content and curriculum, and they will benefit from your previous real-world, hands-on experience in the cloud computing space.

Responsibilities
You will attract, develop, and coach a great team of Americas managers and trainers across several time zones.
You will manage the execution of the regional training team strategy in alignment with customer signals and close partnership with account aligned stakeholders.
You should enjoy continually skilling yourself on the most innovative technologies relating to cloud computing.
Your teams will be known as the benchmark for quality, innovative learning experiences which help customers develop digital skills for the future and adopt the Microsoft Cloud.
Through all the above, you will be a Microsoft cloud evangelist with customers, partners and external communities.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
10+ years of people management experience, building great teams and depth experience that will help you shape our program.
Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years training, education, information technology (IT), cloud systems, datacenter environments, server environments, computer technologies experience, or equivalent experience
You will have had experience with building a large-scale training program and the logistics involved with developing, supporting, and running these scale events.
You will have cross group collaboration experience which ultimately has led to the creation of new programs with measurable success metrics.
You will have experience in managing and leading teams. Ideally you will also have experience in training, support, or consulting management.
Ideally you will hold a current Microsoft Certified Trainer qualification.
You will have conducted classroom training/evangelism related to technology.
You will have an in-depth, broad understanding of cloud computing concepts and solutions.
You will be a motivating communicator, able to foster energy and enthusiasm for skilling across your team and therefore to our customers.
You should enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and can travel to engage them (0-25%).
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions, then that’s a bonus.
The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $157,300 and $236,300
At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
