Responsibilities
As a Principal Technical Program Manager on CEO, you will have a direct and clear impact on delivering experiences that delight our customers. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of data science methods and best practices to mine customer voice data for insights and stretch your technical program management skills to drive platform improvements that improve customer experiences and support. You will work closely with a talented engineering team, collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across Microsoft to identify, design and deliver on critical platforms features and experiences that delight our customers – ensuring that we drive meaningful and scalable data driven solutions. Our work is highly visible to Microsoft senior leadership team and offers multiple opportunities to share our successes and receive support and guidance.
Responsibilities includes:
Listening to customers (internal and external) to understand their scenarios and challenges.
Capture and analyze comprehensive customer voice data for insights to help tell the data story and quantify impact.
Identify customer issues, develop business requirements and set actionable research plan.
Employ data science and machine learning solutions to deal with critical business problems in New Commerce adoption.
Capture and analyze comprehensive customer voice insights to tell the data story and quantify impact.
Translate strategy into plans that are clear and measurable, with progress shared out monthly to stakeholders.
Build delightful customer experiences with a strong understanding of customer requirements and problem space.
Develop new processes, tooling and systems to enable reliable, automated and scalable data modeling, analysis, simulation and experimentation.
Partnership with various engineering and PM teams to drive improvements on product design and architecture, leading to increased customer satisfaction.
Engage with partner teams across Microsoft to drive alignment on dependencies.
Define, collect and measure the success of the product/feature through relevant metrics and KPIs.
Present roadmap, plans, and status to all levels of company leadership.
Qualifications
Required / Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
8+ years of technical program management experience.
2+ years, Good at applied statistical techniques, data science, machine learning and/or AI.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills verbal, written, presentation – to peers and executives.
8+ years of experience creating alignment with a broad community of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience with data science programming such as Python, R, SQL, Excel.
Experience influencing outcomes through partnerships across multiple divisions.
Customer focused, strategic, drives for results, is self-motivated, and has a propensity for action.
Fantastic problem solver: ability to solve problems that the world has not solved before.
Proven success in communicating with technical and non-technical users to collect requirements, describe modeling decisions and business research strategies, and extract insights from data.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to manage competing priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Proven ability at looking at solutions in unconventional ways and exploring opportunities to innovate.
Enjoy dealing with ambiguity and complexity in a collaborative and intellectually curious environment.
