We build endpoint protection feature for Windows, Linux and MacOS working together as a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Program Managers, Data Scientists and Security Researchers.
Our endpoint protection runs in lower levels of operation system, and we leverage cloud services for ensuring protection efficiency. Key product lines built by our team include world’s leading Anti-Virus and Data Leak Prevention system, the Microsoft Defender which is included as part of Windows and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) for enterprise customers. Our products and services are foundational drivers for Microsoft 365 and are a major growth opportunity for Microsoft.

Responsibilities
Design, lead and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint content delivery services – a mission critical part of Microsoft Security story.
Grow software engineers and coach them managing their careers
Live by Microsoft Culture attributes
Help develop an industry-leading product with a big and active user base that operates in world scale.
Drive end-to-end features that touch on multiple engineering aspects, from UX to services, Data and everything in between.
Interact with internal customers and partners to deliver the right software solutions to the right problems.
Solve challenging design and technical problems in the system to improve reliability, resilience and performance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in computer science, engineering or equivalent
7+ years of experience in leading Engineering teams delivering industrial strength client software and services.
5+ years of experience in Software project experiences involved cross group collaboration, people and project management skills.
Proven ability to drive scenarios end-to-end across multiple components
CS fundamentals, problem solving skills, and getting things done
Understanding of scalable Cloud Services (Azure, GCP, AWS)
Preferred qualifications:
Experience on scalable cloud architectures
Hands on debugging and coding experience
Passion for working with customers and advocating for their requirements to be met by features
Proven ability to create componentized, well-architected software at a component level
Results-oriented free thinkers with ability to socialize and drive their ideas into the technology
Drive for solving hard problems and getting things done
