Microsoft is redefining shopping experiences through the Edge browser, Bing Shopping and Shopping on Microsoft Start, as well as via the Microsoft Start app. We are looking for a product marketing manager to help drive the customer journey, value prop and prioritization of some of our incubation shopping experiences. This role focuses on delivering customer-centric product vision, identifying market opportunities and customer needs to help users discover products, save money, and have a seamless shopping experience. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about e-commerce and motivated to work in a high-growth business to help win and delight billions of users.
The right candidate is a high-energy contributor with experience partnering with research, engineering, product groups, business planning and go-to-market to help build a unified vision and outcome across our shopping canvases.
Identify rich market insights to create meaningful stories that inspire engineering and marketing partners. Bring the voice of the customer and our research insights to the planning process.
Ensure the end-to-end customer journey is as friction-free as possible while ensuring that value accrues back to the Microsoft brand.
Ensure that relevant value proposition is being delivered with product truth.
Work with internal partners, including business planning, finance, research, engineering, and marketing to execute on product strategies with passion, precision, and excellence.
Anticipate business questions and drive research for data-backed answers.
Think creatively about customer/business problems and generate innovative solutions and energy through storytelling.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business
OR Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business
OR equivalent experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
