RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Release Manager at 343 Industries, you will work directly with Lead Producers, Producers, Content Project Leads, Engineers to establish, execute, and improve the process for releasing content title updates and new releases.
Ensure teams and products comply with global requirements for game releases and updates.
Work with production and test to validate certification requirements during development to ensure timely and successful certification.
Document, execute, and improve content readiness, builds release, and game content publishing to the production environment.
Drive pre-release builds flighting and access management.
Manage day-to-day development issues and drive identification of potential release impact.
Facilitate collaboration and communication across teams leading to compliance and release.
Work with leads to update and maintain release information and schedules.
Configure storefront game products, store pages and products in platform publishing portals.
Identify and remove roadblocks that prevent production teams from performing to their highest potential.
Coordinate and lead efforts across the studio’s teams, Xbox, Microsoft such as: Content Production Teams, Quality Assurance, Marketing, User Research, Localization, Business Development, Licensing, Legal, and more.
Provide regular status on the state of releases, risks, and mitigations.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
You are detailed and organized. You never let anything fall through the cracks. You are clear, concise, and specific. You understand, track, and ensure that release data is 100% accurate.
You can talk to creatives (e.g. artists and game designers), technical people (e.g. programmers), and non-technical people (e.g. PR and Marketing) alike. When conflicts occur, you bring people together, you listen, you mitigate, and you resolve.
There is no instruction manual on how to be a great Release Manager. You use your instincts, experiences, and team to identify, assess, and solve problems quickly and frequently.
Both playing video games and a passion for understanding what makes them great.
You have experience shipping AAA current generation games through a minimum of two product cycles as a Release Manager or Producer.
