The Spares & Warranty team is ready to bring on a high-energy Senior Operations Program Manager to help transform our Cloud service parts supply chain, enabling increased customer focus, quality, and efficiency. This position is responsible for managing the evolution of our warranty service support models and to operationalize future state warranty processes & systems as part of our transformational journey to a developing world-class service & repair organization.

Manage the transformation of warranty management processes & operations to the next generation of service parts supply chain & related business process models that scale with Microsoft’s growth
Deliver key strategic programs & projects that enable the service parts supply chain business for Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure
Partner with data center operations to promote transparency of warranty entitlement & sparing strategy; identify opportunities related to inventory optimization, warranty entitlement & compliance
Drive cross-team alignment and progress on a forward-looking plan
Define processes and deliver business requirements for systematic solutions, enabling service part repair operations at scale
Strong technical aptitude with excellent visual and verbal communication skills with ability to influence business and technical decision makers
Cultivate strategic relationships globally
Qualifications
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or engineering or equivalent years of experience
5+ years’ experience in the Cloud server/network hardware supply chains or equivalent complex, large-scale manufacturing supply chain and/or service repair operations environment or equivalent
5+ Years working with program management methodologies, process & tools
Preferred qualifications
Experience in high-tech supply chain, reverse logistics, or service parts industry
Technical problem solving and communication skills with a focus on process engineering and automation
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive resolution in ambiguous situations
Proven capability delivering results through cross-group collaboration and partnership
Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with ability to create clarity, delivering executive level communications on complex problems and solutions
Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities with minimal oversight
Eager to learn, curious, customer-focused with persistent attention to details
Proficient with Microsoft O365 applications, Visio, MS Project, SQL, and Power BI
Experience with ERP/MRP implementation (i.e. SAP, Dynamics 365 or comparable)
Lean/Six-Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, CPIM/CSCP certification a plus
