You should have experience with a broad array of research methods and activities, and a proven track record of success working directly with partners. As your product team creates new features, you’ll help them make decisions based on data and user perspectives. Responsibilities
Demonstrates operational research excellence for a feature or a product.
Demonstrates awareness of potential human and methodological biases and takes steps to mitigate their impact on the validity of the data collected and potential conclusions drawn.
Leads planning efforts for user experience research studies to help the organization inform product and user experience strategies.
Addresses complex challenges that might arise such as from complicated technical issues and product dependencies.
Applies research methods for effective execution of a feature area.
Guides multi-person research efforts resulting in strong product outcomes for a feature area.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
5+ years User Experience Research experience AND Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Information Science, Social Sciences, or related field
OR 3+ years User Experience Research experience AND advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years relevant domain experience within technology sector.
3+ years experience in research methods impacting both product direction and detailed experience design.
PhD in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences, or related field.
