As a Solution Strategy Leader, you support the pre-sales, envisioning, and solutioning of projects focused on optimizing the patient experience across the healthcare continuum by delivering strategies that have a significant impact on attracting and retaining patients.
Specific areas of focus include:
Capacity, appointment wait times, scheduling policies, and centralized scheduling centers.
Improving digital and online access to clinical care services.
Organizing the delivery of centralized services across a health system, including the build of centralized access centers.
Evaluating demand versus supply and geographic opportunities for health system growth.
Partnering with physician leaders to develop and execute on the case for change.

Uses voice of customer frameworks and industry metrics to understand customer, partner, and internal group satisfaction, and develops scalable strategies for improvement.
Identifies and develops strategic relationships with new and existing customers, partners, or internal groups to enhance strong networks and open communications.
Drives the development of shared strategies to ensure clear expectations for scope and scale and minimize redundancy.
Establishes best practices for shared strategies that set the standard for clear expectations, scope and scale, and minimize redundancies.
Uses expertise and influence in his or her field to represent Microsoft at industry events and lead customer engagements.
Provides proven thought leadership to set the direction and approach for the delivery of one or more products, services, processes, or technologies within one division, geography, or region, by using established project, program, and process management methodologies to achieve clear and measurable outcomes for the business.
Recognized for his or her expertise on policies and procedures for processes and services. Advises on the clarification and establishment of performance expectations for consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of delivery.
Develops an impact assessment for change management associated with simplification and automation. Manages change across multiple stakeholders to ensure high-quality implementation.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years’ experience in healthcare technology solutions, provider operations, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security) OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing solutions business
Strong knowledge of and passion for the healthcare sector
More than seven years of experience in ambulatory operations or access-related roles
Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, directing, and managing individuals, and completing challenging projects
Track record of managing multiple engagements, including work plans, deliverables, budgets and schedules, and accounts receivable
Master’s degree in business administration or a health-related field or equivalent level of industry experience preferred;
Strong written and verbal presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain deep client relationships
Location/Travel: You may be based anywhere in the United States. You can expect limited global travel, up to 25%, contingent upon Covid-19 restrictions.

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $144,600 and $236,300. At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
