The Azure Fundamentals team develops the software and hardware for one of the largest clouds on the planet to have best experience for the Azure customers.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who can build best in class Azure platform for Azure services to reduce customer impact, identify the highest customer pain points and streamline them across all Azure services thus help shape the future of Azure. You should be comfortable building strong relations with our partners and engineering teams, influencing the roadmaps and presenting the state of platform to the executive leadership. The person should be a self-starter and be able to drive the customer obsession in all that we build. You’ll be working with teams across multiple organizations in Azure to influence, prioritize improvements in our services, processes, and the tools that will help us improve the platform.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
7+ years of software development and/or technical program management experience shipping services.
5+ years of experience in cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
Proven track record in cross collaboration helping teams drive towards common goals.
Knowledge of Azure platform and DevOps practices with Cloud is a plus.
Data Analytics experience is highly desirable.
Self-starter with a strong bias for action.

Strong focus on delivering end to end customer value.
Demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements.
Track record of making pragmatic business and engineering tradeoffs to deliver business value.
Demonstrated leadership and exceptional cross-team skills.
Proven experience in planning and executing on complex multi cycle initiatives.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
