The Microsoft Defender Experts team dives deep into that data to identify threats that customers have not seen yet. Our job is to keep attackers on the defensive and help them be seen when they do attack. Our team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive and help mature our service offerings.

The right candidate for this role will move us from a scrappy start-up to a mature offering that delights customers through our industry leading products. The program manager will be responsible for executing the rhythm of business, defining operations and processes, competitive research, and helping to evaluate to overall quality of the offering and operations. Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Work with the service stakeholders to define, deliver, and evaluate the service
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure successful customer experiences with the service
• Drive research insights into product features delivering customer value
• Create and deliver customer facing content that supports their security needs
• Conduct competitive analysis of the service to suggest improvements and opportunities for future directions
• Work independently to provide structure and insights to the team
• Fostering a strong working relationship with development, design, content, marketing, and business development to drive consensus and process improvement
• Engage in continuous planning cycle to drive next wave planning while keeping your pulse on execution and stepping in execution where uniquely required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of technical program management or product management experience.
• Experience working with Enterprise customers and preferably have Operational service experience and/or have shipped enterprise features

Preferred Skillsets and Experience:

• 5+ years of program and/or product management experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in software security, security research, security incident response, security product development, threat intelligence, or tracking cyber threats.
• Experience in Data Science principles driving solution outcomes leveraging AI/ML and big data processing.
• Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail and the ability to articulate business needs in cross-group and partner scenarios
• A desire to learn, grow, and drive change
• Strong security acumen and demonstrated experience with security research, incident response, attacker tradecraft, exploit provention, detection, mitigation, and remediation
• You must have a strong record of accomplishment of delivering results despite ambiguity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across a large organization, influencing many functions and teams
• Strong project management skills and experience that includes managing many unique and diverse projects simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal awareness
• A solid understanding of Microsoft organizations, technologies, and products, especially as they relate to security, will ensure a quick start
• Experience with advanced persistent threats and human adversary compromises
