The Consumer Channel Sales and Marketing finance team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager with strong financial and business acumen, to lead strategic and financial initiatives partnering with the Office business. As the Office finance lead, you will work with across multiple teams including CCSM WW Category, Marketing and Finance teams, CCSM Field as well as the Office Business Group, to ensure best in class financial leadership and analytics for this exciting part of our growing consumer business.
This is a highly visible position and will require the candidate to have a proven track record in cross-group collaboration, strong analytical skills, experience in influencing others without authority, business partnership, and executive maturity. This role is a finance leadership role in the organization and provides a unique opportunity to manage and influence a business with full P&L responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Drives Finance & Business Excellence:
Drive Office financial processes including defining insightful market intelligence, KPI, and benchmarking analytics.
Partner with business leadership to provide transparency, predictability and accuracy of the forecasts.
Drive a robust and supportable financial plan during Planning that aligns with the long-term goals of the CCSM and Retail business.
Proven ability to look beyond the numbers. Effective at cultivating diverse data outlets and connecting the information into a cohesive qualitative story.
Ability to objectively formulate opinions and defend viewpoints with business partners instead of just reporting out what partners think.
Challenges existing norms or courses of action, facilitating fully informed decision making. Creates constructive friction by fearlessly asking the right questions and challenging assumptions.
Grow the Business Profitably:
Understand the story behind the numbers and translate this into forward looking narratives and forecasts which incorporate: recovery plans; exploiting opportunities; which align with underlying Business and Market Insight.
Focus on driving profitable growth by identifying growth levers, drive cost efficacy, improve contribution margin %, and be an integral part of the CCSM decision making process.
Optimize CCSM P&L by identifying opportunities and effectively monitoring portfolio of products with different profitability/margins.
Understand and communicate Office market perspective by analyzing key competitors, market share, key performance indicators and consumer behavior.
Cross-team Leadership:
Deliver results though coordination with Regional Office Controllers – Team Lead
Delivers Results through Teamwork: Work through others and across teams, establishing high standards of performance and creating a climate of mutual accountability that delivers expected business results.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, commerce, or another business related field.
8+ years of related experience in finance or accounting or economics or commerce or business
The position requires an individual who understands how to get things done in a large, complex organization through influence and collaboration. The ability to work across organizational boundaries to build alignment and drive closure on issues and results is very important.
The ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate through uncertain situations to drive for clarity will help ensure success.
Strong people skills with the ability to impact and influence at all levels of Microsoft, customer and partner organizations, including at senior leadership and executive levels.
Strong business acumen and mental agility to ramp quickly across the CCSM and Finance organizations and initiatives.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; skilled in translating ideas into clear, high impact communications.
High personal accountability for self and others while modeling strong team building and conflict management behavior.
