In this position, you will be part of our multi-disciplinary team, as we work hand-in-hand with our product partners, to drive collective success toward responsible innovation. You will join other creatives and help us craft narrative, humanize our research findings, convert our insights into actionable patterns and practices, generate and edit copy, and assist with our various educational and cultural initiatives.

Write and edit friendly, brilliantly clear communications collateral, including UI text, instructional design materials, internal and external-facing articles, product documentation, and more.
Formulate and evolve language pattern guidelines/style guides for ethical human-AI interactions, and look for opportunities to share these beyond the team, with the goal of growing and improving company and industry best practices.
Inform content strategy by listening to the voice of our users, especially those who are too often at the margins of society, the vulnerable and the underrepresented.
Partner with subject matter experts to demystify AI technologies and policy in order to create compelling, digestible content about applied AI ethics for a range of audiences.
Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and innovations and effectively pitch those ideas to the team and stakeholders.
Perform functional and editorial quality assurance on content as appropriate.

Qualifications
Track record of delivering creative projects under tight deadlines.
Experience writing for instructional, conversational, informational, and/or entertainment purposes.
BA/BS degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Creative Writing, Theatre, or other literary/communication subject.
Excellent communication skills, with a proven history of nurturing collaboration among peers.
Intellectual curiosity to consider the complex sociotechnical ecosystem your writing will live in.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, divergent, and ambiguous environment.
Flexible, versatile writing across form factors, subject matter, and audiences.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
