Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are Colorado-specific.
Colorado Pay Range: from $69,000 to $152,000 per annum eligible for commission and equity.

The Application Sales Representative – Hospitality Global Business Unit is an outside Sales Executive role focused on selling both our Hospitality Property Management Solution along with our Point of Sale Solution to the Independent Hotel Market. The Independent Hotel Market is mainly made up of hotels and resorts that do not carry a large brand or flag (such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, etc.).

Join the successful North America sales team growing Oracle Hospitality’s presence in the hotel sector. We are seeking high-performance sales people with a passion for helping leading hotel brands via technology. You will raise your industry profile while selling solutions based on leading Oracle Hospitality cloud, software and hardware technology and services, enabling our hotel customers to deliver exceptional guest service and drive revenue.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of field sales or sales management experience , ideally in hospitality software solutions. We are looking for sales professionals capable of leading successful client acquisition in competitive settings and who have a track record of achieving annual and quarterly sales targets . Strong sales candidates with deep experience in resort, hotel or restaurant operations, IT or finance are also encouraged to apply. Specific experience with Oracle Hospitality products such as Opera Property Management and Simphony Point of Sale, or experience with products from other technology suppliers in our industry, is a plus. Knowledge of the payment industry is valued. A basic understanding computer industry technology and terminology, such as Cloud, operating systems, applications, database, networking, hardware, consulting and support, is helpful in this position. A commitment to grow your knowledge is important.
Successful candidates develop strong relationships with prospective customer teams, ensuring mutual partnership throughout the relationship. You will develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of our offering. Lead our team in the development, presentation and delivery of the value proposition. Work with Oracle Hospitality consulting, support and partners to ensure seamless hand-off and delivery of the project.
The candidate will have excellent attention to detail , a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to learn complex systems and processes quickly . You will be comfortable working in a large technology organization. You will maintain a complex daily work schedule, fulfilling commitments and obligations, and meet or exceed revenue goals. Successful candidates are goal-driven self-starters, manage well under pressure and enjoy a high volume transactional sales cycle.
Demonstrable experience drafting professional, business quality correspondence is expected. Experience with sales forecasting, CRM, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is important as you will be using the applications daily.
Travel varies at or above 25% based on requirements of the sales cycle and work location.
