Oracle Advertising is seeking a Client Development Manager with a strong ad tech, measurement, and/or data strategy sales background who will own a sales territory consisting of existing brand and agency accounts on the Brand Direct team. The Brand Direct team is tasked with driving & expanding committed, recurring revenue across a wide variety of Oracle data- and measurement-based products.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is driven by cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, driving revenue, closing deals, and clearing hurdles to growth. Additionally, someone who enjoys collaborating with other team members to expand the overall opportunity with their respective clients.
The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track of record of preserving and growing client relationships with a value-based selling approach. The Client Development Manager will be responsible for preserving existing revenue in an assigned book of accounts, as well as driving new revenue through the sale of net-new solutions.
The right team member will collaborate effectively with internal teams to drive optimal client experience, including account managers, product managers, legal, plus other client partners, to effectively manage relationships, engagement, and adoption of data enablement and measurement products. Further, this candidate will take and lead the client renewal process, including CRM management, timeline management, and contracting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high client retention rates are achieved in close partnership with Account Managers.
- Consistently grow and preserve revenue across existing clients – at or above revenue quota.
- Educate multiple levels of clients, up to executives, on benefits of Oracle Advertising solutions.
- Build account plans and scale winning go-to-market strategies to deepen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
- Manage all aspects of the sales process internally/externally, including sales forecast and contracting.
- Quarterback and/or lead the RFP process from start to finish with support teams involvement.
- Embrace the belief that all clients should have an amazing and consistent experience when working with the Oracle Advertising – constantly striving to deliver that experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
- 8+ years of Ad Tech sales, preferably in data-driven or measurement solutions.
- Well-versed in value selling and have a proven track record of growing revenue across an existing client portfolio.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams to ensure high client retention rates.
- Comfort presenting at all levels, including C-level and decision-makers.
- Ability to use creativity to architect complex deals.
- Success at navigating complex organizations to build strong relationships.
- Tremendous work ethic, laser focus, passion, and commitment.
- Strong interest in learning about new technology and can translate that into value for clients.
- Team player who th rives in a rapidly changing environment.
