Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions. Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory. Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities. Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions. Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge.
Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of Oracle competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Previous consultative selling experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be needed. BA/BS degree in related field.

As a Supply Chain Transformation Executive, you will bring your energy, experience, and passion for delivering presales support as a strategic partner with our industry sales teams. You will provide executive expertise and guidance encompassing our dynamic cloud solutions ( key modules are transportation, warehouse, O2C, P2P, Planning and PLM) for our audiences, whether new or existing customers. Partnering with sales and inspiring change to help the supply chain community achieve results for their organization, workforce, function, and business. Continuously support our competitive positioning and customer success through collaboration with interdepartmental teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Oracle Supply Chain Transformation Team. The group includes former supply chain leaders and management consulting executives passionate about helping customers plan for and achieve digitally-enabled supply chain transformations fueled by modern practices and great employee experiences. The team is accountable for engaging with clients throughout the sales cycle to share Oracle thought leadership and bolster relationships to advance Oracle’s Cloud market share
Responsibilities
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell. Experience in leading large organizations through supply chain transformations across transportation, warehouse, planning/scheduling, product lifecycle management and related enterprise functions such as order management, manufacturing and procurement.
Thought Leadership
Foster conversation, facilitate formal discussions and participate in panels at industry events; effectively present supply chain trends and best practices to various audience sizes in person and virtually.
Acts as Oracle’s thought leader in advising customers as they undergo similar supply chain transformation projects.
While knowledge of the products involved, as well as general cloud software sales and cloud service delivery models is preferred, the domain experience in supply chain is critical.
