Job Summary:
The Oracle SaaS at Customer Operations team is looking for a self-motivated individual contributor and dynamic team player to join our global team and work at the cutting edge of Oracle’s Cloud technologies.
The Oracle SaaS at Customer (S@C) service is an offering that gives Oracle customers the software and services provided by the Oracle Public Cloud on hardware installed in the customer’s own data center. Members of the S@C Operations team are responsible for delivering strategic technical support and solutions to S@C customers while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Team members will engage in operational activities including monitoring, installation, patching, and upgrading Oracle Fusion middleware and Oracle database implementations. They are also expected to address extremely complex, critical customer system issues on a routine basis and document technical solutions.
- 7 years of experience with core Oracle products or eight years of experience with Oracle Applications products. Proven professional experience demonstrating an understanding of Applications at a functional and technical level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
- Rotating between two shifts (morning / late evening)
- You must have two of the top 3 skills listed below:
- Experience with administration and configuration of Oracle Fusion MW, WebLogic, SOA suite, Portal and Identity management Suite
- Experience with administration of at least one application management suite such as Fusion Applications, E-business suite, Peoplesoft, Siebel etc.
- Experience managing Oracle databases including installation, upgrade, patching, cloning, backup and recovery.
- Troubleshooting skills for critical database, application, networking and system administration issues
- Experience with Performance Tuning and techniques (SGA tuning, DB tuning, Apps tuning, use of tkprof, AWR etc.)
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix including commands and shell scripting
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g. Java, C, C++, etc.)
- Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills in middleware and/or database areas
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to work both independently and with members of a global team without close supervision
- Candidate must be willing to work in shifts and/or On-Call Basis.
Preferred but not required:
- Oracle Fusion Application Installation and Administration experience (a big plus)
- SOA Suite administration (BPEL & WSM)
- Knowledge of Oracle Internet Directory (OID) & IDM administration
- Implementation and Administration of Oracle Goldengate
