As a Delivery Consultant I, this position includes the areas of Scheduling and Patient Access with initial scope of Acute/Hospital with future growth into Ambulatory/Clinic departments. You will support existing revenue cycle products and workflows related to Soarian Financials, Soarian Scheduling, HDX, PatientWorks, Millennium Revenue Cycle, and additional third-party applications.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 1 year of health care information technology project management, sales or consulting work experience
  • A least 1 year of systems management or implementation work experience
  • Healthcare IT experience in a Hospital

Expectations

  • Must reside in or around the Springfield, MO area
  • Willing to work on call shifts as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Willing to complete onsite rounding within Scheduling and Patient Access areas
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

This position is responsible for consulting with clients on current workflows and configurations, upgrade implications, system changes and enhancements as well as ongoing system maintenance. As a member of this team, you will complete client-specific design, configuration and troubleshooting with appropriate tools, and suggest improvements to implementation methodology and consult on complex configuration decisions. In addition, you will develop and execute test plans and test script execution and note changes in end user functionality while also reviewing new defects, write steps to test, outline information for change requests and notify clients. Finally, your responsibilities will also include navigating across venues to resolve issues, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate when appropriate to solution and engagement while also leveraging internal and external resources to deliver problem identification and resolution.
