Conduct exams and develop plans within the scope of professional license to evaluate and treat injuries and chronic conditions Prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients Educate and counsel members about preventive care, ergonomics, medical issues and use of prescribed medical treatments Collaborate with the member, medical practitioners and appropriate others to plan, implement and assess the intervention programEvaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modification to orthoticsFollow established policies and procedures to work in clinic environment involving possible exposure to potentially hazardous materials and situations that require safety precautions and may include use of personnel protective equipment
Masters Physical Therapy Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
As a Physical Therapist on our team you will conduct exams and develop plans, within the scope of professional license, to evaluate and treat injuries and chronic conditions. This includes preparing and carrying out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent physical dysfunction in the patients. Basic Qualifications
- At least 8 years total combine higher education and related work experience, including:
- 1 year direct patient care work experience
- 7 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of this job including:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent relevant work experience
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist (state of KS)
- Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
