Job Description Oracle is seeking a PR Manager to help drive communications for one of its key business areas – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This is an exciting and fast-growing area, and we are looking for a self-starter with big ideas who is hungry to deliver award-winning work.
We are looking for a PR manager with a strong professional presence, outstanding writing, and critical thinking skills, as well as experience leading integrated product PR programs and thought leadership campaigns. If you have proven track record of both developing PR plans/recommendations and executing, we’d love to connect with you.
You should be results oriented, have a strong intellectual curiosity, be comfortable working within a matrixed organization, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. PR agency experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Create unique story angles that make Oracle product and customer news interesting to top tier technology and business journalists.
- Develop and execute media relations programs—build and maintain reporter relationships, manage follow-through with reporters, and secure coverage.
- Develop and implement integrated communications plans to maximize the reach and impact of news announcements.
- Write long-form content such as press releases and contributed articles.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct customer reference interviews to support PR activities.
- Develop social media content to support product announcements and key marketing campaigns.
- Develop subject matter expertise in Oracle technology, issues that impact our business, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations preferred.
- 5+ years of PR agency experience.
- Deep knowledge in enterprise technology areas including cloud computing, database, artificial intelligence, security, application development, and analytics.
- Ability to provide communications support and counsel to global colleagues.
- Strong, pre-existing relationships with technology reporters at business and trade publications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills, and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Position is remote.
Responsibilities
Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns. Maintain regular interface within the organization and with external suppliers and agencies. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Use professional concepts, company policies, procedures and own creativity handling local campaigns – and arrange sign off with appropriate management level. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Provide support and input when assisting with partner advertising. Manage resources within the terms of project budget. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.

Hiring Range: from $76,400 – $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
