As a Senior Solution Architect you will provide venue expertise during client engagement to deliver workflow and solution design to achieve defined benefits. You will be responsible for guiding clients through current workflows, upgrades, system changes, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance. You will act as a primary consultant for the client’s solution troubleshooting, consultation and knowledge transfer while also cultivating and sustaining relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge, and engagement support. As a member of this team, you will resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise. This will include resolving complex client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or solution application, performing test script execution, and creating and participating in integrated testing.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
    • At least 2 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
    • At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of health care information technology work experience
  • At least 5 years of software implementation work experience
  • At least 3 years experience with supporting and/or implementing Cerner solutions or other EHR systems
  • At least 3 years of Clinical or Nursing background

Expectations

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Ability to work independently in a highly complex environment
  • Strong clinical knowledge in Cerner solutions and how they interact/interface with other.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with a collaborative work style
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge and engagement support
