Your Opportunity
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the monitoring, planning, analysis, and upkeep of the Federal HealtheIntent servers. This is a semi-technical Operations role, where an understanding of server hardware architecture, understanding of big-data platforms, and critical thinking skills are necessary to succeed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years system administration and/or system engineering work experience
- Experience managing or analyzing production systems running Linux and/or UNIX
- Experience with config-as-code solutions like Chef
- Experience with a public cloud provider such as AWS, OCI, or Azure
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a system engineer
- At least 1 year of experience in a Data Analyst-type position
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare IT setting
- Familiarity with Oracle database connectivity
Below are some key responsibilities of this role:
- Drive system changes and enhancements via daily monitoring and analysis.
- Monitoring across our HDFS, HBASE, Vertica, etc. clusters using internal monitoring tools
- Identify and coordinate system efficiencies and maintenance opportunities
- Evaluate new releases and determine the impacts to the servers
- Monitor existing solutions and predict future growth via capacity planning and analysis
- Consult with stakeholders to determine results for core and related system requirements and projects.
- Create complex reporting and analysis and propose additional reporting opportunities
