House Supervisor RN at Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital

The Administrative Nursing Supervisor provides nursing administration on evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care. The Nursing Supervisor provides day-to-day management of unit operations, thus allowing the Nursing Services Manager opportunity to focus on long-term planning, budget, goals, outcomes, decision-making and other higher-level management functions. The Nursing Supervisor acts as a representative of administration and coordinates hospital and department activities on assigned shift. The Nursing Supervisor has administrative authority during their assigned shift and is the initial Incident Commander in any situation where Emergency Codes are activated. The Nursing Supervisor will be required to travel between both campuses.

Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse upon hire
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Emergency Nurses Association upon hire

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• 5 years of Acute Care hospital experience, including at least one year of ED experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Critical Care experience
