As a Senior Social Strategist at Tag, you leverage your extensive expertise in social media and your deep understanding of online audience behavior to identify compelling opportunities for social content. You possess the ability to distill complex ideas into concise creative briefs that inspire and guide the account teams. With your in-depth knowledge of established and emerging social platforms, you play a pivotal role in inspiring, refining, and strategically planning campaigns and content to achieve maximum impact and effectiveness. You are the ultimate brand champion, and your goal is to deliver exceptional quality strategy, industry insights, programming, results, and recommendations to maintain and grow customer relationships, and play an important role in supporting departmental initiatives. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
•7+ years in social strategy role or similar
•Demonstrated success in effectively managing high-profile brands with a substantial and engaged following, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or alcohol & spirits industry
•Can lead strategic recommendations/proposals for social media/digital marketing
•Expertise in recognizing cultural trends, memes, and current news stories, enabling strategic leveraging for our clients across social media, earned media, and paid media channels
•Highly skilled in communication and creative thinking, adept at combining data-driven insights with intuitive decision-making
•Experience with social media management platforms (Sprout Social, Brandwatch, etc.) and can suggest smart insights from social media analytics
•Has a history of working alongside creative teams with a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
•Effective presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders, including strategic recommendations and quarterly business reviews
•Is well-versed in team leadership, embodies core values like collaboration, feedback, empathy, problem-solving and team recognition
•A love and deep understanding for social media marketing; is perceptive, collaborative and agile with decisions made on behalf of the client
•Has worked alongside integrated agency teams, producing effective ways of working and identifying clear responsibilities for their team
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, bonus experience and skills include Google Analytics
JOB DUTIES

•*Acts as the social media lead and a primary point of contact for dedicated client account, responsible for coordination across all unique brands (alcohol & spirits)
•*Develop best-in-class integrated social media strategies and executions, including program KPIs for our priority brands
•*Supervise four direct reports (Sr. Social Media Coordinators), managing their overall experience for training & development and HR
•*Ensures the seamless execution of the program by championing exceptional quality in every aspect of program delivery and internal/external communication, including supporting team members and ensuring program KPIs are being met and exceeded
•*Reviews, evaluates, and reports on client social media analytics and performance to continuously improve results and meet program KPIs, using tools like (but not limited to) Sprout Social and Brandwatch
•*Coordinates alongside integrated agency teams, integrated media teams and brand teams to ensure effective project & time management
•*Proactively suggests opportunities to grow the business, including upselling and cross-selling
•*Responsible to staying ahead of the curve, bringing new trends & ideas forward to the client and internal team
Per New York state requirements, this posting reflects the salary range for this position for a New York based individual: $99,000 USD Minimum and $105,000 USD Maximum. Compensation varies depending on job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs. For all other states, please inquire with the Tag Talent Acquisition Team.
