Tesla Industries, Inc Looking For Cable & Electrical Connector Assembler at New Castle, DE Full Time

Tesla Industries Inc. designs, manufactures, tests and supports state of the art power conversion systems at our headquarters in New Castle, Delaware, USA. We specialize in systems that provide power for 24-volt vehicles and aircraft. The Turbo Start portable ground power systems, the MPU (Micro Power Unit) aviation battery systems and our Cobra series of connectors and cables are our primary systems.

Our manufacturing company is currently seeking a Cable and Connectors Assembler. The ideal candidate must be hard working, energetic, have excellent communication skills, and possess the willingness to be a team player.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Assemble materials into finished product using machines and/or hand-tools
• Have a high attention to detail
• Cut cable according to drawing specs
• Able to follow detailed work instructions and mechanical drawings
• Ability to use basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Basic mathematical skills
• Build product to standard rate
• Complete product and process inspections
• Work safely and look-out for the safety of others
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Keep area clean and organized
• Maintain required certifications (if applicable)
• Adopt a total quality mindset and ensure process quality in each step of the manufacturing process
• Perform job duties in order to meet quality and on-time delivery goals
• Prior assembly experience preferred

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
