Requirements
Provide broad engineering support for assigned projects as defined in the BPA.
The Cost Analyst shall:
a. Have an accreditation through International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association, American Association of Cost Engineers, Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis, or American Society of Professional Estimators. Alternative certifications may be submitted for consideration. A Master’s Degree in Project Management will fulfill this requirement.
b. Be proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook), Adobe Pro and AutoCAD and cost estimating software such as RS Means Online. The government will issue a computer for use.
c. Be fluent in American English, both written and spoken, grammar, spelling and technical report writing.
d. Be capable of walking on uneven surfaces such as may be encountered on a construction site inspection up to one (1) mile. Be capable of standing for extended periods in the heat and a variety of weather conditions. Be able to climb stairs and a ladder without assistance. Be able to bend and reach to visually inspect equipment installations and site conditions.
