The position is located in Sparks, NV.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage a team to plan, execute and turn over Civil and Architectural work.
- Develop execution plans to ensure cost and schedule expectations are achieved
- Develop funding requests for new projects
- Present project status to executive leadership
- Perform constructability reviews during design development to ensure engineering documents meet project needs
- Quickly respond to queries and drive timely technical resolutions.
- Work with the Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor proposals against cost/schedule estimates.
- Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams.
- Ensure a high level of quality and safety is maintained during field execution.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree (MS preferred) or related 10+ years field experience
- Experience as a Construction Manager on +100M industrial or commercial construction projects.
- Experience managing heavy civil or electrical or mechanical or MEP projects
- Knowledge of ASTM and ACI Standards
- Ability to develop a cost loaded schedule and track performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite products, Bluebeam and PlanGrid
- Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field to ensure project objectives are being met
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
- Willingness to travel as needed
