Full Job Description
What to Expect
The New Site Openings Program Manager builds the processes and strategies for new store openings, in addition to overseeing and managing the milestone timeline.
What You’ll Do
- Identify key expansion markets by forecasting customer and operational needs from units in operation and current demand
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and the Collision Network Manager to locate appropriate properties that meet our standards for collision operations
- Coordinate tours of prospective sites to assess action plans for meeting opening deadlines
- Perform onsite checks during and after construction to identify blockers of target site opening date and work with cross functional teams to resolve
- Maintain professional working relationship with stakeholders to resolve blockers
- Order equipment/product, track shipments, follow-up on delayed purchase orders, and be onsite to accept crucial deliveries
- Serve as single point of contact for the Collision Business Development Manager and the Field Operations Manager to drive timely results for site openings
- Manage milestones for key stakeholders, but not limited to:
o Design
o Construction
o Recruiting
o EHS (Environmental Health & Safety)
o Workplace
o Field Operations
- Oversee and drive successful completion of tasks and milestones
- Equipment/Supply ordering team(s)
- Create weekly progress reports for senior leadership
- Perform onsite tour of existing sites to identify efficiency improvements for future new site concepts and design
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
- Demonstrated experience working and supporting successful expansion initiatives
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Collision industry experience preferred
- Experience with municipal planning, permitting requirements, and zoning procedures preferred
- Highly Proficient with MS office – including Excel, Planner, Sway and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
- Positive attitude in stressful situations
- Flexible with last-minute changes and working hours to interact across time zones
- Passionate, self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight
- Proven ability to act in a leadership role; able to coach, train, develop, and retain project managers
- Ability to deliver results through collaboration across multi-functional teams
