Tesla is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Senior Program Manager to directly collaborate with multiple 3rd Party Warehousing partners. This person will be responsible for ensuring our partners maintain contractual key performance indicators, adhere to Tesla policies, and provide first-class support to Tesla’s Vehicle Service and Energy Teams.
Responsibilities
Act as liaison to 3rd Party Warehouses to ensure adherence to Tesla policies and procedures
Audit 3rd Party Warehouses to verify Tesla-mandated standards are met
Effectively communicate and evaluate warehouse key performance standards (KPI) including costs, dock-to-stock, inventory accuracy, fulfillment, quality, and other critical performance criteria
Manage and communicate individual Profit & Loss (P&L) benchmarks for each managed site to leadership
Review, Audit, and approve monthly invoices; Communicate costs clearly for executive review
Support with resolving NCI (non-conforming inventory) and other operational needs
Review and audit inventory variance found by 3rd party in accordance with Tesla policies
Act as the point-of-contact for and support with on-site and field-related escalations
Coordinate order-line transfers both into and out of warehouses
Partner with internal and 3rd party teams on new services, projects, and implementations
Program-manage and coordinate the launch of new Third-Party Logistics (3PL) warehouses
Collaborate with Tesla business partners to align on standards, operational improvement, and goals
Build a strong working relationship with 3rd parties and internal Tesla teams
Role consists of up to 75% travel and is a remote position
Additional tasks or responsibilities as dictated by company need or direct manager
Requirements
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Material Distribution, or equivalent experience
3-5 years related experience in warehousing, fulfillment, and/or operations
Familiarity with CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) is preferred
Strong understanding of critical processes for handling and distributing Dangerous Goods
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Must be able to merge and compare data effectively
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand
Ability to learn, communicate and train other on complex processes
Ability to present warehouse performance and status updates effectively to executive leadership
