What You’ll Do
Define and deliver a product vision and strategy.
Work cross-functionally to ideate on business problems outside our org vertical.
Ability to investigate and resolve issues across systems and organizational boundaries.
Prioritize between existing customers versus new customers, and between features, architectural improvements, and operational excellence.
Define a set of KPIs and monitor success metrics through SQL-powered Tableau dashboards and have the ability to analyze and utilize them in the decision-making processes.
Coordinate resources and broadcast timelines for deliverables.
Conduct user research and contribute to the design of software. Push for high reliability and responsiveness from a systems and user satisfaction perspective.
Manage the implementation and ongoing success of software products, including (re)defining requirements, sprint planning, and release management.
An ability to read the software codebase, and an interest in machine learning and vision systems is preferable.
Work with engineering teams to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios.
Experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain is preferable.
Oversee the product development lifecycle from inception to launch, with an ability to prioritize the most important features to maximize impact.
Manage the roadmap, get feedback, and develop ideas for new improvements and challenges.
Lead stakeholder discussions for overall vision and translate them into detailed requirements, user stories, and actionable tasks, then feedback engineering discussions to refine them.
Define customer scenarios and product roadmap.
Work cross-functionally with business, internal users, engineering, UX design to define and drive product vision and strategy.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent in experience
5+ years of experience in product development and having shipped customer facing products that delivered business impact and customer satisfaction.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics for making assumptions and decisions. Proficiency with data analytics using SQL, Pandas, Tableau, and/or similar tools.
Ability to successfully work with a cross range of teams including engineering, UX, and operations.
Proven history of converting learnings from customer insights into tangible reports and product features that customers love.
Good understanding and working experience in technology development best practices (such as, Agile, etc.) and product management technologies.
Real world pragmatism to effectively drive improvements that get successfully implemented and add value to Tesla.
Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver excellent results.
