As a system integration engineer, you will be responsible for performing electrical, mechanical and software integration and system testing of the next generation industrial storage products. Responsibilities
Perform hardware and firmware integration of the next generation industrial storage products.
Lead and own firmware validation, new features definition, firmware regression, and firmware releases.
Lead and own test plan definition for new products with continuous feedback for new hardware revisions.
Embedded firmware validation in C, C++.
System debugging during design, launch, and deployment.
Key leader of FMEA as part of the product design, integration, and test process.
Identify areas of concern and work cross-functionally to develop solutions for hardware/software problems on complex high power/high voltage products.
Design and implement the next generation test systems to facilitate fast and automated firmware regression tests at system level.
Requirements
BS or higher in engineering related field.
Experience in integration, testing and bring-up of complex hardware/software systems.
Exceptional analytical problem solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex hardware/software systems.
Strong EE fundamentals in electrical system design, electronic circuit design, and controls theory.
Experience with C/C++, Python.
Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail.
Preferred
Understanding of hardware and software development process.
Proficiency with test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
Fluent with the embedded microprocessor design process: compilers, debuggers, and Git.
Working understanding of how grid-tied storage systems function and interact with the grid.
Experience working with high power and/or high voltage (1kVDC, 480VAC) products.
