What to Expect
The Workplace Operations team is responsible for maintaining non-manufacturing facilities and providing soft services to engineering, sales, service, energy, and general and administrative teams. Operations Coordinators are the leaders of day to day workplace coordination, yet also work closely with workplace management to devise solutions to drive the long term workplace strategy.

What You’ll Do
- Receive, track, and prioritize Workplace requests from employees. Dispatch the associate team to execute and see through completion.
- Coordinate furniture deployments and collaborate with the operations associate team to maintain the furniture and workplace asset inventory; provide management with weekly inventory updates.
- Coordinate with internal clients and departments who request team events and meeting that may require workplace support. Ensure the events are planned and executed to meet the internal client’s request.
- Assist with move scenario space planning and maintaining accurate space plans.
- Collaborate closely with the Workplace management team and external move vendors to perform office employee moves interoffice and between other sites.
- Conduct facility audits and building inspections to ensure facilities are maintain to specific standards
- Assist workplace management with purchase order creation and approvals and invoice tracking for operating and capital expense budgets.
- Oversee workplace vendors through the on-boarding process to complete all required documentation and ensure a strong working relationship.
- In conjunction with the other Workplace team members, assist with process creation, implementation, and maintenance for programs and services workplace offers.
- Crosstrain with the mail associate and reception teams; this role will temporarily support when colleagues have time off or during high demand times.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of experience in a corporate setting.
- Basic knowledge and high interest in facilities management, workplace services, furniture systems, space planning, and event planning.
- Ability to read building floor plans and construction documents.
- A customer-centric attitude and enthusiasm to support workplace clients/other departments.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment under constant changing priorities and demands.
- Robust problem solving, resourceful, and creative skills.
- Familiarity with Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Bluebeam Revu
- Preferred, but not required: Spanish speaking
- Preferred, but not required: Familiarity with AutoCad, and CAFM and IMWS Software.
- The working schedule is Monday-Friday, however the ability to work weekends or nights as needed into order to project or schedule demand is required.
