- Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow; following company procedures; utilizing equipment appropriately; merchandising; working inventory exceptions; correcting shelf capacities; and completing and retaining required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
- Supports store operations by executing daily workload and processes; following One Best Way (OBW) standards and procedures; participating in team meetings to learn daily and weekly objectives; communicating with team leads to understand daily priorities; training with certified team associates to enhance and develop skills; and providing feedback concerning business area issues or needs.
- Provides customer service by acknowledging the customer; identifying customer needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; providing product knowledge; locating merchandise; resolving customer issues and concerns; promoting products and services; operating equipment, such as cash registers and related tools, to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold; maintaining a safe shopping environment; and appropriately representing and supporting the company’s mission.
- Follows company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food; operating and sanitizing food-related equipment; stocking and displaying/merchandising food products; and maintaining and cleaning assigned departments.

- Maintains the fresh area by following company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food; culling produce to ensure quality; operating and sanitizing food-related equipment according to food safety and compliance regulations; preparing products based on customer specifications; ensuring merchandise is properly measured and stored; following formulas, decorating, and baking instructions; following guidelines for wrapping, dating, labeling, and storing merchandise; ensuring list of ingredients and sell-by dates are visible and accurate; following company and regulatory policies and procedures for food safety; stocking and displaying/merchandising food products; removing damaged or out-ofdate goods; receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise; and monitoring the area of shrink, security risks, and safety.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
