WhatsApp Looking For Program Manager, WhatsApp at Menlo Park, CA Full Time

We’re looking for a Program Manager to join the WhatsApp Team. This role will work closely with the WhatsApp Leadership team (VP Product, VP Eng, VP Operations & Programs, VP Policy & Communications) to develop and manage programs across our product & business priorities. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Operations & Business Planning.

This is an exciting opportunity to scale strategy & operations across WhatsApp. As a Program Manager you’ll partner with leadership and embed with various functional and cross-functional teams to help ensure operational excellence across the organization. Key program focus areas could include: product roadmapping, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives, executive communications, programming & communications for leadership forums, people priorities, and external engagement with global stakeholders & audiences.

A successful Program Manager will be organized, strong in cross-functional collaboration, and able to identify process gaps and suggest & build improvements. This person should be a team-player and eager to work in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment. While a high level of business acumen & professionalism are required on our team, we have a down-to-earth, low-ego culture that values collaboration.

Program Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities:
Partner closely with WhatsApp Leadership team to develop & oversee programs that help us make progress on top priorities

Develop & scale internal operations to help teams operate efficiently

Track & communicate progress in our priority areas to key stakeholders (WA Leadership, WA Team, X-Meta Teams)

Develop content for internal engagements and contribute to key X-Meta communications like Board Decks, Leadership reviews, etc.

Partner closely with WhatsApp Leadership on their executive communications to ensure consistency in narrative & cadence

Coordinate, track, and promote functional specific initiatives and opportunities happening across the org

Identify opportunities for teams to work more closely together by aligning goals, processes & plans

Manage communication within and between teams and their business leaders

Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality work on time and with an attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in project management, strategy, management consulting, or operations

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously

Experience with building presentations in Keynote and/or PowerPoint and compiling briefing materials

Experience drafting communications (long- and short-form)

BA/BS Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
A curiosity surrounding the messaging industry and an experience applying this awareness to connect the dots with the work we do globally

Experience helping global organizations scale

Experience establishing programs and leading them end-to-end

Experience collaborating closely with teams outside of the U.S.
